I sat down with Daniel Jackson, host of “Beyond the Veil” to talk about my perspectives on body, breath, and consciousness. We talk about how aging can become a conscious spiritual practice, seeing the body as a vessel we must inhabit fully to get the most out of life. I also talk about the tension between what I call the “egoic narrative” and our “somatic experience”, and how leaning on the lived experience delivers a more authentic moment.

We explore yoga, qigong, breathwork, and somatic awareness, and how we can use these tools to cultivate “vitalizing pleasure,” slow the aging process, and reconnect with nature’s wisdom. Mortality, ego death, shamanic principles, and the importance of listening to the body are all on the table.

Join us for a conversation that invites you to awaken, breathe consciously, and live more fully.

You can join me for Part II of this conversation, where we talk about tending the “garden of the self”, how it begins with the breath, how reconnecting with nature restores creativity, vitality, and clarity, and more.
